Asignatura Pendiente is the song...

I'm sure you already know how he always talks about getting in touch with your inner child and everything and you know that by the time he says that it means that he's going to sing Asignatura Pendiente... his little speech before the song got me thinking... yes, I know I shouldn't think too much, but what can I do? it's part of who I am...

It got me thinking we should all get in touch with our inner child. That little person that we carry in our heart represent everything good, kind and innocent in us. Everything was so much easier when we were kids, wasn't it? everything was so much simple and we didn't have to lose our minds to find a solution to a problem, the most simple answer was the solution to all our problems, so simple it was, that we amazed old people...

Why can't we resemble some of the good things we had in our childhood? that lovely period in our lives when we were considered "cute" by any other adult? that time when being good and kind was natural in us? that time when being mean was not a choice? that time when we had fun playing with little things like rocks, cards or leaves? when life was brighter and more beautiful? why not?

It's not impossible.. it takes a lot of time, I know, but it's worth it! I mean, look at Ricky, you can tell that his inner child is just around the corner. You can see that when he wears no shoes on stage (a huge star with no shoes! when have you seen such an extraordinary thing?) and that cute laugh after a song shows you that his inner child is there, haven't you noticed that?

Whether you forced yourself (or you were being forced) to grow up faster than anyone else or whether you grew up just like any other child, it's important to keep in mind some of the things you had as a child, as I said before, your inner child represents everything good in you.. it's that little angel that will be with you if you look after them, otherwise, you'll lose it, and I'm sure you don't want that.. do you?
