I'm a Ricky Martin fan because the first time I heard him on the radio singing La Copa De La Vida, I was well and truly hooked. Being a huge soccer fan myself, the radio stations in Australia really played that song a lot and everytime they did, I loved it. Kept on requesting it at the radio stations. They knew as soon as they heard my voice, what song I wanted. I had never seen a photo of Ricky Martin, I just heard his voice because at the time I didn't have my pc so I couldn't see any pics until they were in the magazines. When I met him and his manager Jose back in 2001 and then in 2003 in Melbourne and Sydney, it was truly a dream come true. He is so down to earth, he talks directly to you and takes the time to talk even though at cd signings you don't have that much time. He is just the greatest. Love him. If I never was a Ricky fan, I would never have laid eyes on Jose and became who I am today. One day I will thank them both in person for everything. Being a fan has really changed my life because before I was, I was seriously into heavy metal and you don't think the music you listen to affects you but it really does but heavy metal made me a real ... to people but listening to Ricky, I'm happy and I'm Sunny Vega lol...Muchas gracias bro in law for that
