I'm a fan (and you should be too) because not only is Ricky Martin a great performer but he's also a great person. I've been a fan of Ricky's since I can remember. And while I out grew other artists, Ricky remains steadfast as my number all time favorite. Not only because of his music and live shows (although I haven't been lucky enough to see him live) but because of the type of person he is. Not only is he a Humanitarian but he's also so honest. When asked why he went on a hiatus he didn't just say "I was exhausted". He told the truth, that all of his success had gotten to him. In this day in age, it's refreshing to see an honest celebrity. And with all the media attention focused on trivial matters of Hollywood, it's a breath of fresh air that Ricky Martin isn't in the gossip columns because of some stupidity like some many other so called performers are. So, I'm a fan because Ricky Martin is one of the few remaining true performers.
